Carrot and Methi Crackers
Crackers are a ideal snack to have it anytime. The addition of carrot gives a lovely colour and flavour to this cracker.
Fenugreek is a type of herb which is rich in protein and Vitamin C. Fenugreek is good for digestion problems. Regular intake of fenugreek lowers the cholestrol level in the body. It is also used for the treatment of type2 diabetes. Fenugreek has enomorous amount of health benefits. To read more about fenugreek click here.

Ingredients:
Plain flour- 250 g
Butter- 1 tbsp
Sunflower oil- 2 tbsp
Warm water- 100 ml
Red chilli flakes- 1 tsp
Dried fengreek leaves- 2 tbsp
Carrot- 2 medium sized finely grated
Sesame seeds for sprinkling on top( optional)
Salt- 1 tsp
Method:
Mix the flour,salt, chilli flakes in a large bowl. Add melted butter and oil to the flour and mix well. Add the fenugreek leaves and finely grated carrot and mix well. Now add the warm water and knead it together to make a soft dough. Add the water little by little when you are making the dough. If the dough doesn't come together add more water to make it into a dough. Wrap the dough in a cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour .
Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius. Roll out the dough thinly between two sheets of baking paper. Cut into small squares. Place it along with the baking paper in the baking sheet. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. Bake it in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the crackers looks crisp. Take it out from the oven, leave it to cool in the oven tray. Then store it in a airtight container.
Serve the crackers along with gucamole, hummus or any salsa of your choice.
