Menu Plan–June 3

This last week was a one of transition – moving between the end of the school year and the start of summer.  It was quite productive and we certainly celebrated with delicious summer foods!

This week, we kick off summer!  And, the biggest surprise was that we have a pepper growing in our garden two months earlier than last year!  Summer is here!  Can’t wait for more BBQ – and fresh berries, which are starting to appear here. 

Sunday
Martha’s Buttermilk Pancakes, Apple Maple Sausages & Berries
Crockpot BBQ Pork, homemade BBQ sauce, corn on the cob
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cake

Monday
Leftover pancakes & fresh berries
Mushroom & Spinach Calzones, steamed broccoli
BBQ – Chicken Sausage & Beer Brats, 40-minute hotdog buns, pickles, veggies

Tuesday
Berry Crumble
Leftovers
Ice cream & berries

Wednesday
Berry Baked Oatmeal
Simple Sandwiches (Wheat Buttermilk Bread, Roasted Red Pepper Spread -new)
Minestrone Soup {new}

Thursday
Baked Oatmeal (leftovers)
Mushroom & Spinach Calzones(leftover)

Friday
Granola, Yogurt & Raspberry Rhubarb Sauce
Pasta & Zucchini

Saturday
Blueberry Rhubarb Bread {new}
Grilling –  Island chicken, roasted asparagus, sweet potato fries
