Friday Favorite Finds #179

Well, friends.  Here we are at another Friday.  Over the past 3 years, I have greatly enjoyed sharing my finds with you on Friday.  Friday Favorite Finds started out as an opportunity to highlight the amazing creativity of other food bloggers, and served as a way to share recipes with one another. 

But now, we have Pinterest.  And, sadly, Friday Favorite Finds has not quite kept up.  that said, this Friday will be the last time I offer a link up for Friday Favorite Finds.  There have been a number of you who share your finds every Friday, and I have so appreciated your participation!  Thank you. 

Will Friday Favorite Finds continue to be a regular at Finding Joy in My Kitchen?  It may, but since most of my finds are now publically shared on Pinterest, it may not happen every Friday. 

I know change is hard, but change is also a good thing.

Friday Favorite Finds #176

Pumpkin S’more Brownies.  Yes please! Delicious graham cracker crust with a pumpkin brownie, topped with toasted marshmallows.  Thanks, Budget Gourmet Mom!

Maple Cinnamon Pumpkin Coffee Cake – Who wants to come over for brunch so I have an excuse to make this!  A Kitchen Addiction has done it again.  Delicious.

Welcome, almost, to your long weekend!  The official end of summer …. it’s bittersweet.  I am ready for fall foods, colors and weather.  Yet, I want to hang on to summer.

BLT Bites. Fresh tomatoes stuffed with all the goodness of a BLT.  Delicious.  Thanks to my blogging friend Jessie for sharing this one!

Copy-Cat State Fair Cookies. I LOVE these…. Haley, you’ve done it again. 

Slow-Roasted Garlic Tomatoes. I can’t get enough of roasted tomatoes.  This recipe was linked up to our Ingredient Spotlight this week by Danielle, a regular Friday Favorite Finds participant too.  Yum-o. 

Egg Mater. What a great way to use up garden tomatoes in an easy breakfast.  This find comes from Morsels of Life – another Friday Favorite regular.  I must confess, though, all I can think of when I hear Mater is Mader from Cars :)

St. Louis Style Pizza – Just so it’s not all sugar on here tonight – some amazing pizza from Reeni at Cinnamon Spice.  Best part – it’s ready in 30 minutes.

Friday Favorite Finds #172

What did I find this week – some delicious recipes!  I feel like my Pinterest boards grow exponentially… so many wonderful recipes I want to make.

Zucchini Pancakes – made with buttermilk and zucchini, and topped with blueberries?!  It’s like Lindsay from Pinch of Yum made this recipe just for me. 

Lemon Zucchini Bread – I have yet to try lemon & zucchini together, but this bread from Barbara Bakes looks incredible!  You can even make it with Greek Yogurt.

Taco Burgers – These look like a fun way to change up burgers at this time of year.  Deborah from Taste & Tell has a great recipe here. 

 

Mushroom & Swiss Patty Melts – I haven’t had a Patty Melt in ages.  These delicious melts from Christina at Dessert for Two look like they need to make an appearance at our house soon.
