Roasted Marshmallows and our meals

The marshmallow has for many years been a roasted favorite. Children love smores and adults love of desserts such as sweet potato pie! Regardless of their application, it is a fact that marshmallows for much longer than you expect.

To start with the history of the marshmallow is actually very different from what it is known for today. In ancient Egypt, it was applied for its medicinal and taste abilities. The marshmallow was originally an extract from the mallow plant, which is known for its ability to ease a sore throat. The root of mallow was squeezed, releasing a substance that had several applications. Because Pharaohs served to speak to the general public, this let them often hoarse, in which case the mallow came into popular use.
